MammothMarch New Hampshire, Bear Brook State Park
MammothMarch New Hampshire takes place on August 29, 2026 at Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, New Hampshire. The event is built around a scenic 20-mile single-circuit loop through the park, passing marshes, bogs, summits and ponds. The route highlights include the Lowland, Cascade and Pitch Pine trails.
The course covers approximately 20 miles with about 1,700 feet of elevation gain. Terrain varies between unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads and forest floor. Aid and refreshment stations are positioned roughly every 5 to 7 miles and provide toilets, food and drinks; these refreshments are included with registration.
Starts are organized in staggered, small groups to limit the number of hikers beginning together; a maximum of five hikers will cross the starting line at the same time. The event does not use timekeeping; participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop early receive a certificate stating the mileage covered. A finisher wall of fame is maintained for all who complete the route.
On-site amenities noted for the event include complimentary parking and limited discounted lodging secured through a travel partner. Merchandise ordered via the event store is available for pick up on event day, while orders from the official online shop are shipped to buyers.
