MammothMarch Missouri
MammothMarch Missouri is scheduled for September 13, 2026, and is currently sold out; a wait list is maintained for additional entries. The event uses a single-circuit loop that starts and finishes at Defiance Ridge Vineyards in Defiance, Missouri.
The route runs through Weldon Spring Conservation Area and follows a mixture of trails including Hamburg Trail, Lewis and Clark Trail, and Katy Trail. The course covers 20 miles with a total elevation gain of around 1,100 ft. Terrain includes paved and unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, and forest floor.
Support is provided along the route with aid and refreshment stations approximately every 5 to 7 miles. Stations offer toilets, food, and drinks such as water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruit, cereal and protein bars, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Complimentary parking is available on site.
All participants who complete the 20 miles receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who do not finish receive a certificate stating the mileage covered. MammothMarch issues Hiking Passes for new participants, and returning participants may present existing passes to collect 2026 stamps. A limited number of discounted rooms have been arranged through a travel partner. Merchandise ordered through the event store will be available for pick up on event day, while items ordered from the official online shop are shipped.
