MammothMarch Minnesota

MammothMarch Minnesota is a sold out, organized long-distance hike held at St. Croix State Park in Hinckley, Minnesota. The event follows a single-circuit route of 20 miles, with an overall elevation gain of about 400 ft, and includes a long stretch along the St. Croix River within the park.

The surface is mainly unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, and forest floor. Aid and refreshment stations are placed roughly every 5 to 7 miles and provide toilets, food, and drinks; offerings include water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruit, cereal or protein bars, and PBJ sandwiches. Complimentary parking is available on site. A limited number of discounted rooms have been secured by a travel partner near the venue.

All participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop early receive a certificate stating the mileage covered. A MammothMarch Hiking Pass is used for stamp collection by returning participants. Merchandise ordered through the event store is available for pick up on event day, while items from the official online shop are shipped.
