St. Croix 40 Winter Ultra

The St. Croix 40 Winter Ultra is scheduled for January 9, 2027, in Hinckley, MN. The event is organized by Northern Wanderer and takes place in and around St. Croix State Park and the area near 30065 St Croix Park Rd.

Participants cover roughly 40 miles during a cold Minnesota night and may choose among three disciplines. Competitors travel carrying essential survival gear and must demonstrate survival skills at two separate points on the course. The race is framed as a winter survivalist event in the same spirit as the Arrowhead 135 and Tuscobia 160.
