Event Information
The Mammoth Endurance 12 | 24 | 36 Hour Tri Relay takes place at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama. It is a team or solo relay event held over 12, 24, or 36 hours.
Race Format
The event uses a "choose your own adventure" format. Participants can compete solo or on a team of up to six people. Teams will be finalized ten days before the race.
During the event, only one team member can be active on the course at a time. That athlete completes a designated swim, bike, or run loop, then returns to the athlete village to transition to the next team member. There is no required sequence, minimum laps, or specific events each athlete must do. Each lap earns a number of points, with the goal of accumulating as many points as possible for the team within the time limit.
The event is designed to challenge personal limits and encourage participants to work on their weaknesses or refine their strengths. It aims to build a sense of community and connectedness among athletes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
