Events
The event features two running distances:
- Grand Bohemian Village 2 Village 10k Run
- Grand Bohemian Village 2 Village 7.5k Run
Course
Both runs start and finish at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. The course winds through Mountain Brook streets, passes around the Birmingham Country Club, and finishes in Mountain Brook Village, leading into Lane Parke. There are separate online maps for the 10k and 7.5k routes.
Awards and Timing
For the 10k, there are "Village Gold" awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, the top male and female masters finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group. The 7.5k is timed, but no awards are given for this distance.
Participant Perks
All finishers of the 10k and 7.5k receive a custom, metal bottle opener as a finisher's item. The event includes a kids' zone and an afterparty in Lane Parke.
Logistics
A guided warm-up is offered near the start line. Late registration and packet pickup occur on the Friday before the event, with a location to be determined. Race day packet pickup and registration opens in the morning. T-shirts and medals are not guaranteed for registrations after a specific date. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine.
