The Malvern Midsummer Marathon takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 with Colwall Village Hall, Mill Ln, Malvern WR13 6EQ as headquarters (grid ref SO750420). Routes and logistics
- 27 miles: covers all of the Malvern Hills, approximately 5000 ft of ascent, on tracks and paths, with 4 checkpoints.
- 15 miles: runs to Black Hill with significant climb, with 2 checkpoints.
The routes are run clockwise and share a common first half before diverging. Cradley, Mathon, Colwall and Evendine are on both routes. The longer route additionally includes Oyster Hill, Ledbury and Bromsberrow and uses the main ridge from British Camp after the northern Malverns.
Checkpoints provide a variety of snacks and drinks. A hot meal and pudding are served at the finish; participants are expected to bring their own mug as none will be provided at checkpoints or the finish.
