Event overview

Malvern Midsummer Marathon takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026. The event is organised by LDWA - Heart Of England and is based at Colwall Village Hall, Mill Ln, Malvern WR13 6EQ (GR SO750420). Entries open 31 October 2025 and close 12 June 2026. Entry fees listed are £18 for LDWA members and £26 for non-members. Entries so far are shown as 12 participants. No dogs are allowed on the challenge.

The longer route covers all of the Malvern Hills on tracks and paths with approximately 5,000 ft of ascent and includes four checkpoints. The shorter route reaches Black Hill and includes two checkpoints. Both routes pass through Cradley, Mathon, Colwall and Evendine. The longer route also goes via Oyster Hill, Ledbury and Bromsberrow and uses the main ridge from British Camp; the routes follow a clockwise direction with a common first half.

Checkpoints provide a variety of snacks and drinks. A hot meal and pudding are served at the end; participants must bring their own mug as none will be provided at checkpoints or the finish.
