Event Overview
The Maldon 5K Handicap Series is a five-race series held on Thursday evenings. The event is organized by Tiptree Road Runners and takes place at Maldon Promenade Park in Essex.
Race Details
The 2026 series consists of five 5 km races. The race dates are:
- Race 1: 23 April
- Race 2: 14 May
- Race 3: 4 June
- Race 4: 25 June
- Race 5: 16 July
Entry is open to runners who can complete the distance in 40 minutes or less. The race is run under UKA rules (licence number: 30553) and the course is certified accurate (certificate number: 23/088).
Registration and Fees
The series sold out shortly after entries opened. A waiting list is available for potential entrants. If a registered runner withdraws, their place is offered to someone on the waiting list and a refund is issued. Deferrals to a future year are not available.
Entry covers all five races. Fees are £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for non-affiliated runners, plus a small booking fee.
Charity Support
