Participants have the flexibility to run any number of races within the series, which visits New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. Each day features a multi-loop course designed to be accessible for both runners and walkers.

The event locations include:

  • Day 2: Durango, Colorado at Santa Rita Park (smooth paved path with moderate hills).
  • Day 3: Bluff, Utah at the Community Center (pavement, gravel, and hard-packed dirt).
  • Day 4: Flagstaff, Arizona at Buffalo Park (crushed gravel).
  • Day 5: Laughlin, Nevada at River Walk Trail (paved path with a short gravel section).
  • Day 6: Nipton, California near Primm Valley Golf Club (flat asphalt).

Available distances each day include:

There are no time limits for any of the distances, and walkers are encouraged to participate. The event utilizes a central aid station because of the looped course format, providing a variety of food and drinks including fruit, sandwiches, hot coffee, and warm meals from a mobile kitchen.

Participants receive a shirt and several medals for each race completed, including a state-specific medal. Those who complete all six days earn a bonus series finisher medal. Strollers are permitted, but pets are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
