Hood Mesa Trail Run
The Hood Mesa Trail Run is the second edition of a trail event held on May 16, 2026 in Farmington, New Mexico at Lions Wilderness Park, 5800 College Blvd. The course follows flowy trails through the Hood Mesa area and offers three distance options.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 miles
- 9 miles
- 15 miles
Registration details in the event information show opening and closing dates and fees by distance: the 15-mile entry fee is $75, the 9-mile fee is $60, and the 5-mile fee is $50. A T-shirt is included for registrations completed before April 20; sizes available run from Small to XXXL. Course maps are provided for each distance.
Packet pick-up is organized at two locations: Southwest Runners Store on May 15 and Lions Wilderness Park on May 16. The organizer requests participants be present for final checks at the start line on the morning of the event.
