Farmington Riverfest 10K, 5K, 2-mile Walk
The event features three distances that start and finish at the Animas Park parking lot and follow river trails near Farmington, NM. The program includes running races and a walking-only route that loop along scenic river trails and finish at the park area.

The 10K and 5K use electronic chip timing. Age group awards for male and female competitors are offered in both the 10K and 5K. The first 300 registered participants receive a race t-shirt. A cut off time is in place at 10:00 AM; no assistance will be provided after that time.
Registration opens in March and closes on May 22, 2026 at 17:59. Published entry fees are $30 for the 10K and 5K and $15 for the 2-mile walk. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before at the Farmington Recreation Center, 1101 Fairgrounds Rd, and on race day at the event site.
