Maine Coast Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K : Wells, ME (May 1 and 2, 2027)
The Maine Coast Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Wells, ME on May 1 and 2, 2027. The event uses a coastal course that passes oceanfront roads, white-sand beaches and marshlands. Organizers schedule races across a weekend with multiple distance options and additional weekend challenges.

Registration includes event apparel, a commemorative finisher medal, free finisher photos and professional race timing. A post-race party at Wells Harbor Community Park features live music, snacks and two complimentary beers for participants aged 21 and older with ID.
Special formats within the event include the Maine Mile Madness, a one-mile timed segment between miles 10 and 11 where the top three male and female finishers and the 207th finisher receive prize running shoes. The Coastline Challenge combines two races across the weekend to earn three medals, a bonus medal and exclusive additional swag. A virtual run option is also available.
