Event overview
The Maine Coast Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for May 2–3, 2026 in Wells, Maine. The event runs along coastal roads and includes views of white-sand beaches and marshlands. The 2025 edition sold out before race day. A virtual run option is offered for those who cannot attend in person.

The half marathon takes place on Saturday and the full marathon and 5K take place on Sunday. Registration includes commemorative finisher medals, event swag, free finisher photos, and professional timing. The weekend features a timed one-mile segment called Maine Mile Madness between miles 10 and 11; prizes are given to the top three male and female finishers and the 207th finisher. The Coastline Challenge allows participants to run two races and earn three medals plus additional event swag and a bonus medal. A post-race party is held at Wells Harbor Community Park with live music, snacks, and two complimentary beers for participants aged 21 and over.
