Main Line Run
The Main Line Run takes place in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and follows a course through the heart of the Main Line. Participants run down Lancaster Avenue and through the streets of the local area. The event supports The Main Line Chamber Foundation's Volunteer Emergency Responders Scholarship program, which provides financial aid to volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians.
The event features two primary distances:
- 5K Run
- Walk (1.5 mile)
The race includes professional chip timing and participants receive technical shirts. Onsite activities include a health and fitness expo featuring booths from local vendors. Cash awards are provided for the top three male and female finishers, as well as a Master's division for runners over the age of 40. Medals are presented to the top three finishers in each age group, and trophies are awarded to the top three teams.
Registration is available online or in person during packet pick-up. Packets can be collected the day before the race at a designated location or on the morning of the event at 175 Strafford Avenue. Jogging strollers are permitted on the course, but pets are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
