Event

Maiden New Ten is a 10K race organised by Maiden Newton Runners. It takes place on 22 July 2026 at The Community Centre, Chilfrome Lane, Maiden Newton, DT2 0AX. The route is a fully signed and marshalled multi-terrain course through the Dorset countryside and holds an Association of Running Clubs (ARC) permit. St John Ambulance staff will be on-site for medical support. Every finisher receives a medal. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, with additional age-category prizes for 45+, 55+ and 65+ (male and female). Homemade cakes are provided at the finish area.

Entry, limits and facilities

Entry is open to participants aged 16 and over on the race date. There are no on-the-day entries; entries must be completed beforehand. The field is limited to 200 runners and the entry deadline is midnight on 21 July 2026. Refunds and referrals are not available, but runner-to-runner transfers can be managed via the entrant’s online account.

Race HQ amenities include car parking, toilets, refreshments and a baggage drop. Entry fees listed are: ARC members £16 (early bird £14 until 1 January 2026) and non-club members £18 (early bird £16 until 1 January 2026). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
