Event overview
The Maiden NewTen is a 10K road and trail race hosted by Maiden Newton Runners. The next scheduled race is on 22 July 2026. The race uses a fully signed and marshalled multi-terrain course that runs through the Dorset countryside and has an Association of Running Clubs (ARC) permit. St John Ambulance staff will be on site for medical support. Every finisher receives a medal. Prizes are given to the first three male and female finishers and to male and female age categories 45+, 55+, and 65+.
Location, facilities and entry
Race headquarters is The Community Centre, Chilfrome Lane, Maiden Newton, DT2 0AX. Amenities at the race HQ include car parking, toilets, refreshments, and a baggage drop. Participants must be 16 years or older to compete. Entry is limited to 200 runners and there are no on-the-day entries. Entry fees are: ARC members £16 (early bird £14 until 1 January 2026) and non-club members £18 (early bird £16 until 1 January 2026). The entry deadline is midnight on 21 July 2026. Refunds and referrals are not available; runner-to-runner transfers can be arranged through the entrant’s online account. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
