Magic City Turkey Trot
The Magic City Turkey Trot is the 11th annual running event hosted by the Magic City Figure Skating Club on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Minot, ND. The event offers a 5K and a 1 mile run/walk, plus virtual options for both distances:

Entry fees listed for the in-person events show a standard price of $40, with a reduced price of $20 for ages 6-12 and free entry for children 5 and under. The event is chip-timed and timed by Run w/ Heart & Sole.
Logistics and additional details
Packet pickup is scheduled Monday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 26 from 4:30-7:00 pm in the lobby of the Maysa Arena. Free T-shirts are provided for runners and walkers who register by November 13. Costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for best dressed and most spirited individual and group participants. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. After the event, bib numbers will be checked at a pie table for a chance to win a pie. The event policy states there are no refunds.
