Madison River Run
The Madison River Run is a local fun run held in Ennis, Montana, organized as part of the Greater Yellowstone Adventure Series. The event features a 5K race that starts next to the Madison River inside Lion's Club Park and finishes inside the park. The course route is subject to change this year or next. The park and finish line sit within a couple hundred yards of Willies Distillery's tasting room.
Willies Distillery is a small batch distillery in Ennis that distills spirits from Montana grains and operates a nearby tasting room. The event carries the sub-name Water to Whiskey 5K to reflect the partnership with the distillery. The G Bar provides on-site snacks in the same area. Historically the run attracted about 50 to 60 local participants from Madison County and Southwest Montana; it remains a local community event while it develops additional reach.
