Pioneer Crossings Relay
The Pioneer Crossings Relay is a long-distance team relay across southwest Montana. The course runs from Twin Bridges to Virginia City through the Pioneer Mountains and covers 175 mile in multiple legs. The organizers publish a detailed course broken into 36 legs and updated for 2026.
The event is scheduled for July 9 and 10, 2027. Team formats include teams of 12 for the standard division, teams of six for the ultra division, and a wildcard category described as a casual entry option. Entry fees are listed per person: $110 for adults 19 and older and $100 for youth ages 12 to 18.
