Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon
The Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Memorial Union Terrace, 800 Langdon St, Madison, WI. The event includes three race options:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kids Run
Prices listed on the event page are $75 for the Half Marathon, $35 for the 5K, and $15 for the Kids Run. A stadium series race bundle is also offered with a combined price shown.
Course, services, and post-race
The course passes Capitol Square, the Dane County Farmer’s Market, State Street, Camp Randall Stadium, the Kohl Center, the Arboretum, Picnic Point, and the University of Wisconsin campus. The Half and 5K start and finish are located near N Park St just past Science Hall; the Kids Run start is at Park and University with an inflatable arch.
Race services include a fully sublimated unisex tech T-shirt by Headsweats, a custom finisher medal, finisher snacks, professional timing by Race Day Events, free participant tracking with RaceJoy, free digital race photos and a post-race highlight video from Focal Flame Photography, pacers for the Half Marathon provided by Fleet Feet, and nearby parking. The 14th Mile Post-Race Party is held at Memorial Union Terrace with live music by Frank Martin Busch and the Names, Lake Mendota views, one complimentary beer for participants 21+ courtesy of Wisconsin Distributors, and non-alcoholic options.
