Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon
The Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Memorial Union Terrace, 800 Langdon St, Madison, WI 53703. The event comprises three races:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kids Run
The course runs through downtown Madison and past several city landmarks, including Capitol Square, the Dane County Farmer's Market, State Street, Camp Randall Stadium, the Kohl Center, the Arboretum, Picnic Point, and the University of Wisconsin campus.
After the races, the 14th Mile Post-Race Party takes place at Memorial Union Terrace. The post-race area includes live music and views of Lake Mendota. Participants aged 21 and over receive one complimentary beer; non-alcoholic options include soft drinks and bottled water.
Race entry includes a fully sublimated unisex tech shirt, finisher snacks, a custom finisher medal, professional timing by Race Day Events, free participant tracking with RaceJoy, free digital race photos and a post-race highlight video from Focal Flame Photography, indoor pre-race warm-up area and restrooms at Memorial Union, pacers for the half marathon provided by Fleet Feet, nearby parking, race merchandise available for purchase, an appearance by Bucky Badger, and designation as an RRCA State Championship event.
