Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon
The 19th Annual Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon takes place on August 14, 2027 at Memorial Union Terrace, 800 Langdon St, Madison, WI. The event includes multiple distances and separate registration windows and fees for each event.
Distances:
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 5K 3.1 miles
- Kids Run 0.1 miles
The course passes several Madison landmarks, including Capitol Square, the Dane County Farmer’s Market, State Street, Camp Randall Stadium, the Kohl Center, the Arboretum, Picnic Point, and the University of Wisconsin campus.
Registration opens October 1, 2026. Registration deadlines and fees vary by event: the half marathon fee is $65 with registration closing November 1, 2026; the 5K fee is $30 with registration closing December 1, 2026; the Kids Run fee is $15 with registration closing January 1, 2027.
After the finish, participants may attend the 14th Mile Post Race Party. Participants aged 21 and over are eligible for a complimentary beer provided by Wisconsin Distributors; non-alcoholic options include a soft drink or bottled water.
