Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon

The Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The event is the 18th annual running of the race and is based at Memorial Union Terrace, 800 Langdon St, Madison, WI 53703. The event includes the following distances:

Course and post-race

The course passes several Madison landmarks, including Capitol Square, the Dane County Farmer’s Market, State Street, Camp Randall Stadium, the Kohl Center, the Arboretum, Picnic Point, and the University of Wisconsin campus. After the race there is the 14th Mile Post-Race Party on the Memorial Union Terrace with live music, views of Lake Mendota, and one complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over; non-alcoholic drinks are also provided.

Race entries include a fully sublimated unisex tech shirt, a custom finisher medal, finisher snacks, professional race timing, participant tracking, free digital race photos and a post-race highlight video, access to an indoor pre-race warm-up area and restrooms, pacers for the half marathon, and nearby parking.
