8th Annual Madison Gospel 5K, 10K, Run/Walk & Health Fair
The Madison Gospel 5K, 10K, Run/Walk & Health Fair takes place at Penn Park in Madison. This community event focuses on health and wellness, offering a variety of movement-based activities for individuals and families. The event features timed races, non-timed walks, and specialized categories in partnership with Ainsley's Angels to support participants who roll and those who push them.
The course for the 5 km and 10 km routes begins at Penn Park, traveling north on Baird Street and utilizing various paths including the Wingra Creek Path. The 5 km turn-around is located near John Nolan, while the 10 km turn-around point is situated by Williamson Street.

In addition to the running and walking events, a health fair is held on-site. The day also features a dance contest and a jump rope contest. Participants receive a swag bag including a t-shirt and a finisher medal, with medals distributed at the finish line on a first-come, first-served basis.
