Made of Steel - 24hrs
Made of Steel is a 24 hour endurance running event held at OnePlanet Adventure in Llandegla, Wales. Participants run repeated loops of a marked course through forest trails with varying terrain and elevation. Each lap is 3 miles long and has approximately 144 m of elevation gain.
The format allows individual entries and two person teams. In the individual format each runner manages their own rest periods and aims to cover as much distance as possible within 24 hours. In the team format pairs use a tag team system so that one team member is on the course at all times. Same sex and mixed teams are permitted. Prizes are awarded to the individual winner and the team winner.
The event is for adults aged 18 and over and takes place in person at an outdoor activity centre. Free parking is available on site. The organiser is The Engine Works. The event operates under a no refunds policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
