MadCity Ultras
MadCity Ultras takes place in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The 2026 event will host the USATF 100K National Championship. The race series began in 2007 and is organized entirely by volunteers. The Local Organizing Committee is recognized by USATF and has hosted the 100K and 50K national championship races for the past 12 years.

Entry fees listed on the event page include $155 for the 100K events, $130 for the 50K solo, $200 for the 50K team relay, and $300 for the 100K team relay. Prices increase after December 31, 2025.
Course and logistics
The USATF-certified 50K and 100K courses use a 10K loop known as the Arb Loop. The loop runs along the shore of Lake Wingra adjacent to Vilas Park and winds through the UW–Madison Arboretum. The 100K team relay can consist of 2 to 5 people. All runners must finish before the course closing time. Entrances are from the east on Vilas Park Drive; Vilas Park Drive is closed to automobile traffic between the Vilas Shelter parking lot and Edgewood Avenue. USATF membership is not required to enter the 50K or 100K solo races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
