MadCity Ultras on Saturday, April 11, 2026, includes multiple ultramarathon events held in Madison, Wisconsin. Events offered include:
- 100K Road Championships
- 100K Solo Road
- 50K Solo Road
- 100K Team Relay
- 50K Team Relay
Course and organization
The courses are USATF-certified and use a 10K loop known as the Arb Loop. The loop runs along the shore of Lake Wingra, adjacent to Vilas Park, and winds through the UW-Madison Arboretum. The 100K Relay can consist of 2-5 people.
The event began in 2007 and is organized entirely by volunteers. The Local Organizing Committee has been recognized by USATF and has hosted the 100K and 50K National Championship race for the past 12 years. The course is open for a 14-hour period; runners must complete their race before the course closes. Runners who start early may not be eligible for placement, age-group awards, or official awards. Entry to the site is from the east on Vilas Park Drive; a stretch of Vilas Park Drive is closed to automobile traffic between the Vilas Shelter parking lot and Edgewood Avenue.
