MadCity Ultras : Madison, WI
MadCity Ultras stages multi-distance road ultras on a 10K loop through the UW Madison Arboretum, known as the Arb Loop. Since 2007 the event has used this 10K circuit around the Arboretum landscape.
The event takes place at Vilas Shelter in Madison City Park with the start and finish on Lake Wingra Drive. The course is the UW Arboretum 10K loop and races use repeated laps of that loop to cover the event distances.
Offered race formats include:
- 50K Solo
- 100K Solo
- 50K Team Relay
- 100K Team Relay
For 2027 the event is the host of the 50K National Championships. The 50K Road Championships list that top finishers may qualify to compete for Team USA in the 50K World Championships. Registration details provided for individual events include opening on 2026-10-31 and closing on 2026-11-30, with published entry fees for each event category.
