MAD Dash 5K - Monroe
MAD Dash 5K is presented by McDonald’s & Gilley Enterprises to benefit the Louisiana Cancer Foundation. MAD stands for "Making a Difference." Funds raised will support cancer patients and cancer survivors in northeast Louisiana.
The event is the second annual MAD Dash 5K and one mile fun run held at Forsythe Park, 2300 Sycamore Street, Monroe, LA 71201. Available event options include in-person runs and a virtual participation option.

Online registration closes September 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.; the pickup location is to be determined. Race day registration will be available at the registration tent on the event day. Registration fees listed for the main events include $35 for the 5K and $30 for the one mile run.
Awards are given for 1st through 3rd place in male and female categories. There are overall awards, overall survivor awards, and age group awards that include: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-45; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 64-69; and 70+.
