MAD Dash 5K - Monroe
The MAD Dash 5K is an annual community event held at Forsythe Park in Monroe, Louisiana. The event aims to support cancer patients within the northeast Louisiana region. Participants can choose between several physical and virtual participation options centered at the location on Sycamore Street.
The event features various distances and categories:
- 5 km (3.1 miles) running race.
- 1 mile fun run or walk.
- Virtual 5 km or 1 mile distance for remote participation.
A specific registration category is available for cancer survivors, which includes a sponsored breakfast and recognition ceremony. In addition to the race activities, there are price opportunities associated with the survivor recognition portion of the event.
Registration is available online until the week of the event. On-site registration and packet pick-up are organized on the Thursday and Friday preceding the race, as well as on the morning of the event at the registration tent.
