MAD Dash 5K - Monroe
Presented by McDonald's & Gilley Enterprises, MAD Dash 5K takes place in Forsythe Park, 2300 Sycamore Street, Monroe, LA 71201 on September 26, 2026. The event benefits the Louisiana Cancer Foundation and supports cancer patients and survivors in northeast Louisiana.

The event program also includes a virtual entry titled "Remote Runner-Not Here, But Still M.A.D!" and a Cancer Survivor Breakfast with recognition and an optional 5K or 1 Mile run/walk, courtesy of NELA Cancer Institute & St. Francis Medical Center.
Online registration closes September 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. In-person packet pick up is scheduled for Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., with location to be determined. Race day registration is available at the registration tent. Posted registration fees are $35.00 for the 5K, $30.00 for the 1 Mile and the virtual option, and $0.00 for the Cancer Survivor Breakfast event.
Awards are given by gender for 1st through 3rd in all groups, including overall and overall survivor categories. Age group awards include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-45, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
