LYSB Midsummer Run : Old Lyme, CT
The LYSB Midsummer Run takes place on July 25, 2026, in Old Lyme Village, with the start location at LYSB, 59 Lyme Street. The event is organized to coincide with the Old Lyme Midsummer Festival and benefits the Lymes' Youth Service Bureau.
Event options include:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Kids K (1K fun run)
The 5K run will use chip timing. Commemorative T-shirts are available for the first 200 registered participants. All finishers receive medals. Awards will recognize the overall top three men and women and the top age group winner in each gender division. Age divisions are Youth 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Registration opens January 5, 2026. Online registration closes July 24, 2026, with on-site registration accepted up to the event. Pricing for the 5K run and walk is $30 for adults and $15 for youth 18 and under. Registration for the Kids K is $10.
Pre-race packet pick up is available the day before the event at LYSB and also on the event day. Proceeds support LYSB programs for youth and families, including mental wellness, drug and alcohol prevention, juvenile justice, positive youth development, and early childhood.
