Bathurst Park Lido T30 Sprint Triathlon
This sprint triathlon takes place at Lydney Lido in Bathurst Park, Lydney, Gloucestershire. The event is presented as a new race aimed at both first timers and experienced triathletes and uses the open air lido in the park.
Distances for the event are:
- 400 m swim in the Bathurst Lido
- 24 km on-road cycle around the edge of the Forest of Dean
- 5 km run around the park and lake
The swim is wetsuit optional. The event is open to all levels and abilities; competitors require a roadworthy bike, a helmet, and a pair of trainers. Registration is held in the HIGH 5 Tent next to bike check in and the transition area. At registration competitors receive race numbers and stickers for bike, helmet, and baggage; bikes must be numbered before entering transition. Swimmers are started in swim speed order, so submitting an accurate 400 m swim time is requested.
Parking is available in the field next to the lido and is marshalled. A race briefing and the start list will be provided to competitors prior to the event and published on the event website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
