LVMPD Search & Rescue 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The event is a community running event held at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park in Blue Diamond, Nevada. It offers a timed distance and a shorter fun run or walk and supports volunteer search and rescue operations in Southern Nevada.
Proceeds benefit Friends of LVMPD Search & Rescue and help fund training, equipment, and mission support for volunteer teams. The event highlights four specialized teams: the Mountain Rescue Team, the Lead Climb Team, Tactical Emergency Medical Support, and the Dive Team.

- 1 Mile fun run or walk
After the running events there is a Rescue Rally where attendees may meet team members, see rescue equipment up close, and watch a helicopter demonstration if weather permits. Parking will be provided for registered runners; attendees who arrive after parking availability begins must pay the park entry fee of $10.
