Event overview
The Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon in Albuquerque takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Mariposa Basin Park, 6401 Taylor Ranch NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. The event offers the following race distances:

Entry, awards and logistics
Registration has staged pricing: preview, early bird, regular, late, and race-day fees with specific amounts for each distance. Participants registered by February 19 are guaranteed race swag in their size; later registrants receive swag while supplies last. Packet pickup is held on race morning starting one hour before the race.
The course is described as flat and uses laps for longer distances: the 10K is two laps and the half marathon is three laps. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given by distance for top finishers and in five-year age groups, including categories for masters, grand masters, and senior masters.
Virtual participants may run at any location, submit their time by the end of race day, and receive virtual packages shipped the Monday after the event (shipping to the continental US only). All registrations are final; there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. Volunteers can qualify for a $50 Visa gift card under specified conditions.
