Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Albuquerque
The Lucky event takes place on Sunday March 1, 2026 at Mariposa Basin Park in Albuquerque, NM 87120. The event offers in-person and virtual options across several distances.

Every participant receives a custom finisher medal. Awards are given by gender and age categories including Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Masters M/F (40+), Top 3 Grand Masters M/F (50+), Top 3 Senior Masters M/F (60+), and Top 3 in standard five year age groups from 10 and under through 80+. Participants registered by February 19 are guaranteed race apparel in their size; afterwards swag is while supplies last.
The course is described as flat and fast. The 10K is run as two laps and the half marathon as three laps. Water stations are available approximately every 1.5 miles. The course cutoff for the half marathon is 3.5 hours, equivalent to a 16 minute per mile pace.
Packet pickup occurs on race morning starting one hour before the start. RaceJoy is available for live GPS tracking, progress alerts, and remote cheers. The event names Native Health Initiative as its 2026 charity partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
