Event Overview
The Lucky Charm 5K Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026. The event is the third race in the Race the Region series. It supports Marquette Catholic High School.
Registration and Fees
All registration is online and remains open until the start of the race. The entry fee starts at $30 with a shirt or $25 without a shirt. This price is guaranteed for early registration. Fees increase to $35 from March 5 and to $40 on race day. A race shirt and size are only guaranteed for registrations completed before March 4.
Packet Pickup
Pre-race packet pickup is available on Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Extra Mile Fitness Company in Valparaiso, Indiana. Onsite packet pickup on race day runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Marquette Catholic High School.
Course and Timing
The event is a 5K run/walk. The start and finish are at Marquette Catholic High School at 306 W 10th St in Michigan City, Indiana. The course uses chip timing with mats at the start and finish lines. The course will remain open for competition for 1 hour and 15 minutes after the start.
Perks and Awards
Participants receive a finisher's medal. The event features live results via text and email, directional signage, and a finisher photo and video. Custom awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, top masters, and the top three finishers in numerous age groups. Awards can be claimed within 14 days after the event at Extra Mile Fitness Company. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
