Lucky Charm 5K Run

The Lucky Charm 5K Run is a race and walk event. It takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The event is part of the Race the Region series.

The start and finish location is Marquette Catholic High School at 306 W 10th St in Michigan City, Indiana. The event supports Marquette Catholic High School.

Registration is online only and remains open until the start of the race. Fees are tiered:

$30 with a shirt and $25 without a shirt for early registration until March 4, 2026. Shirt size is guaranteed.
$35 with a shirt and $30 without a shirt from March 5 to March 20, 2026. Size is not guaranteed.
$40 with a shirt and $35 without a shirt on race day. Shirts and sizes are not guaranteed.

Packet pick-up is available before the race on March 19 and 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Extra Mile Fitness Company in Valparaiso. On race day, packet pick-up is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the race site.

The course is open for competition for 1 hour and 15 minutes from the official start. The event uses chip timing with mats at the start and finish lines. Live results are sent via text and email. All timed participants receive a finisher's medal.

Awards are given to the top overall male and female, top masters male and female, and the top three in each age group from 10 & under to 75 and up. Awards can be claimed within 14 days after the event at The Extra Mile Fitness Co. in Valparaiso. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
