Luck of the Run 5k and Fun Walk
The Luck of the Run 5k and Fun Walk is a community sports event held in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The event takes place at Shawnee Middle School, located at 4300 N Union. Participants can choose between two main activities:
- 5k Run
- Fun Walk
The event serves as a fundraiser for Project Graduation, a yearly program organized by senior parents. This program provides a post-graduation party for students as a drug- and alcohol-free alternative to other celebrations. All proceeds and donations from the race directly support this cause. Wolves Alumni are specifically invited to participate to help raise funds for the graduation event.
In addition to the run and walk, the event features a Tailgate Raffle. The drawing for the raffle takes place after the completion of the race. Participants who register for the event before March 1st receive automatic entry into the drawing. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase on the day of the event.
