Event Overview
The Cargo Classic is an annual running event in its 11th year. It features multiple race options and takes place at Cargo Ranch, a property located four miles northwest of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Location
The event is held at Cargo Ranch, with the address 8895 Coker Rd in Shawnee, OK. Packet pickup and registration are available on-site the day before the race and on race morning.
Race Events
The event includes several participant options:
- 5k: A chip-timed race on a USATF-certified course.
- 1 Mile Donut Dash: A one-mile run or walk.
- Virtual 5k: A remote participation option where participants complete a 5k on their own schedule.
- Shirt Only: An option to purchase the event shirt without racing.
Registration Details
Early bird registration is available until a specified date in early April, offering lower pricing and a guaranteed event t-shirt in the participant's selected size. Prices increase after the early bird deadline.
Post-Race and Awards
A full hot breakfast is served to all participants after the races. Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 5k, and cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5k.
