Event Overview
The LSUS Dental Dash is a running event taking place in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is the first annual edition of the event. The primary purpose is to promote oral health awareness and raise funds for free dental cleanings for LSUS students. It is hosted by the LSUS Pre-Dental Society and Miles for Smiles D.E.P.O.T.
Distances
The event offers two 5K race options:
- A general 5K.
- A Collegiate Students ONLY 5K.
Event Details
The event takes place at 1 University Place. There are awards for overall male and female winners (trophy), and for 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers (medal). Age group awards are also listed. Following the race, runners are automatically entered into a drawing.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Registration for the general 5K costs $35, while the collegiate student 5K costs $30. Participants must register by February 6th to be guaranteed a shirt. Packet pickup is available at Run Wild next to Silver Star Grill on Ellerbe Road on specific dates before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
