LSA's Run Home 2026
LSA's Run Home is a two-day fundraiser on 09/12/2026 to 09/13/2026 at Vasona Lake County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd, Los Gatos, CA 95032. The event is sponsored by and benefits Life Services Alternatives, an organization that provides community living and programs for adults with developmental disabilities in the Bay Area.

The event marks 22 years since Life Services Alternatives opened its first home. The organization opened its first three homes in 2004 in Santa Clara and currently operates 15 licensed homes across Santa Clara County, including San Jose, Campbell, Santa Clara and Morgan Hill. Residents range in age from 20 to 80. A 16th home is in renovation and retrofitting. Five of the fifteen homes serve individuals with special health care needs and intensive support needs; the remaining nine homes provide 24 hour non medical care and supervision.
The event materials note a local housing shortage for adults with developmental disabilities and that more than 40 programs have closed in the past four years due to staffing issues, low government rates, and the high cost of living in the region.
