LRC Tees Trailtastic : Barnard Castle trail running event
LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event held on Sunday 21 June 2026 at the Tcr Hub in Barnard Castle (DL12 8TD). Routes follow sections of the Teesdale Way over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents. The event is presented as an off-road adventure rather than a race and includes fully marked, marshalled courses.

- 3.5 miles
- 9 miles
- 15 miles
Age limits are applied by course: the 3.5 mile event is for participants aged 15 and older; the 9 mile and 15 mile routes are for those aged 17 and older. All courses are signposted and marshalled. Cut-off time for completion is five hours and walk-runners are permitted.
On-course support varies by distance: one aid station for the 3.5 mile route, two for the 9 mile route, and four for the 15 mile route, offering water and fuel and hydration supplied by Precision Fuel & Hydration. Entries include finish-line mementos, finish-line refreshments, and free professional photographs. The event is TRA licensed and UK Athletics rules apply.
Facilities at race HQ include toilets. Paid parking is available at Teesdale School (£5); there are limited free parking places around the town. There are no changing facilities at the Tcr Hub. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
