About the race
Lowells Loop is a Last Man Standing format event taking place in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. Participants run along the roads of the local area on a specific course. The event follows a repetitive loop structure where runners must complete each lap within a set timeframe to continue in the competition.
The loop measures 5 miles in length. All participants have 60 minutes to complete the full circuit. Those who finish the loop within the one-hour limit qualify to start the next lap. This process continues every hour until only one participant remains or no runners are able to complete the circuit within the allotted time.
The event starts in the morning, and each subsequent lap begins exactly on the hour. The course is situated around Willama Vista. Proceeds from this event are donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Registration for the event remains open until the day of the competition.
