Lowell Labor Day Weekend 5K
The Lowell Labor Day Weekend 5K is a 3.1 miles run or walk held on September 5, 2026 at 195 West Oakley Avenue, Lowell, Indiana 46356. Proceeds support the Tri Creek Education Foundation. Online registration opens in June 2026, with an early registration deadline of August 14 for standard fees and for guaranteed T shirt orders. Adult registration on or before August 14 is $25 and increases to $30 after that date. Youth entries (14 years and younger) are $10 at all times. T shirt pricing varies by size and must be ordered and paid by August 14 to be guaranteed. A $2 club discount applies to Calumet Region Striders members. There are no refunds.
Participants are invited to bring used running and walking shoes for donation at the Calumet Region Striders on site tent. Ample parking and facilities are available at the venue. Awards and door prizes are presented immediately after the race; winners must be present to receive awards. Awards include top overall male and female, top male and female masters, and top three finishers in each age division, including youth and senior categories through age 80 plus, as well as Athena and Clydesdale divisions.
