Low Key Halloween Haunts takes place at Indian Fields Tavern/5 Fields Brewing Co., 9220 John Tyler Memorial Hwy., Charles City, VA 23030. The event offers two measured running distances and on-site activities tied to the Halloween theme.

- 10k - 6.2 miles
Entry includes an official race time, a finisher's medal, and a finish-line beer. Packet pickup is available before the races. A costume judging contest is scheduled to occur before the runs begin. Participants will be released in small groups of one to three people to limit impact on the Capital Trail.
Timing is recorded using timing mats at the start and finish so a participant’s official time is registered when they cross those mats. Registration opens July 1, 2026 and registration closes October 10, 2026. The stated registration fee is $20 per entry.
