Habitat Richmond 5k & 10k
The event offers two distance options on a family-friendly, paved course at Dorey Park in Henrico, VA (2999 Darbytown Rd.). The route is described as fairly flat, runs mostly through the park, is stroller friendly, and welcomes walkers. The 10k is an out-and-back course completed twice.

Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and the event is chip timed. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrants before May 12; extras are available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event. Race day registration is offered; prices increase on race morning by $5 per distance.
Water and aid: three water stations are placed along the 10k course at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65. One water station is on the 5k at about mile 1.55. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located within the park.
Results and awards: live results are posted on Athlinks and via a race QR code, with final results and series points posted the Monday following the race. Awards include top three men and women overall and first and second in listed age categories; top three overall are not eligible for age-group awards.
This event supports Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit serving Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield County with homeownership and home repair programs.
