Lover's Lane : Chester, VT
Lover's Lane is a timed trail event offering 6 hour and 12 hour options on a 1.8 mile loop that begins and ends at the Chester town park. Each loop has about 280 feet of elevation gain and loss. The course uses single-track, double-track, and jeep trails.
Basic on-site support includes an electrolyte drink called Untapped Maple Aid, snacks, and burgers and hot dogs with vegetarian options. The event is described as a fat-ass style gathering; participants are asked to bring any special food needs, including gluten free items, and to share extras with others. The organizer notes that only basic amenities will be provided and that racers should bring items they will specifically need.
The Chester town park offers parking and amenities for families and supporters, including a pool with lifeguard when conditions allow, a skate park, softball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, and an 18 hole disc golf course.
