Lover's Lane - Chester, VT

Lover's Lane is a timed running event held at the Chester town park near the municipal pool. The event offers two timed options and uses a natural-surface loop course that begins and ends at the park. The loop measures 1.8 miles and has about 280 feet of elevation gain and loss per loop. Trails include single-track, double-track, and jeep trails.

The event follows a fat-ass style with basic race support. Organizers provide an electrolyte drink called Untapped Maple Aid, general snacks, and burgers and hot dogs with vegetarian options. Participants are asked to bring any specialty items they need, including gluten free options, and to bring a food item to share. Organizers note they will assist as much as possible on race day but will not supply every possible need.

The park location offers parking and on-site amenities for families and supporters such as a pool with a lifeguard when conditions allow, a skate park, softball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, and an 18 hole disc golf course.
