Lover's Lane - Chester, VT
Lover's Lane is a timed loop event held at the Chester town park near the Chester Municipal Pool in Chester, VT. The event offers six hour and twelve hour options on a 1.8 mile loop that includes 280 feet of elevation gain and loss per loop. The course follows a mix of single track, double track, and jeep trails. The run begins and ends at the town park, which has ample parking.
This is a fat ass style event with basic on-course support. Organizers provide an Untapped Maple Aid electrolyte drink, snacks, and burgers and hot dogs with vegetarian options. Participants are asked to bring any special food needs and to bring a food item to share. A volunteer crew assists on race day but not all items are available on site. The park offers amenities for spectators including a pool with lifeguard when weather permits, a skate park, softball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, and an 18 hole disc golf course.
