Divided Sky Fun(d) Run
The Divided Sky Fun(d) Run is an annual community event held in Ludlow, Vermont, on Jackson Gore Road. Now in its fifth year, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Divided Sky Foundation, with all proceeds supporting addiction recovery programs in Vermont. The gathering is established as a sober event designed to build community among runners, walkers, and supporters.
Participants can choose between two main formats:
- In-person 5k
- Virtual 5k
The in-person run route for 2026 features a change from previous editions, as the course will be completed in reverse. This event is part of a larger "BIG Weekend" in the area, which also includes the Music on the Mountain festival.
The schedule includes several activities surrounding the run, such as early packet and shirt pick-up at the Jackson Gore Icehouse on the day before the event. On the morning of the run, participants can attend a pre-run yoga session and announcements. Post-race events follow the completion of the 5k, leading into a broader music festival later in the day. Local residents of Windsor or Rutland County are eligible for a registration discount. Accommodations with discounted rates are available through Jackson Gore for those traveling to the event.
