Event overview
The Lovers Lane 2 Mile & 4 Mile Relay is scheduled for February 14, 2026 at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, SC. Donations and race proceeds will support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. The event includes a solo 2-mile run and a two-person relay covering a 4-mile total distance.

The course is described as an out-and-back along Corso Drive that crosses the "Lovers Lane" bridge and is characterized as flat and fast. Relay teams exchange at a designated "Lovers Lane" exchange zone. Finishers receive a medal and a custom race bib; event-themed giveaways and a race sticker are also provided. A craft beer from Bridgeway Brewery is provided at the finish and there will be music and a post-race gathering.
Registration features include transfers to another person, the option to change distance after registering, a 15% club discount for Upstate Running Club members, and a $5 referral credit for referring two or more runners. Race shirts are sold separately. Refunds and deferrals are not offered unless the event sells out, in which case a 50% off code for a future Upstate Race Series event may be requested.
Volunteer shifts of three hours are available; volunteers earn a free entry to any Upstate Race Series-owned event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
