Event overview
The Greenville Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Greenville, South Carolina on February 28, 2026. Both races finish on the TD Stage at the Peace Center in downtown Greenville (300 S. Main Street). Both courses are certified by USA Track & Field (half marathon SC106017DW; 5K SC106018DW). The event uses Race Result BibTag chip timing and awards are based on chip time. A $3,000 cash purse is offered, with prizes for the top five overall finishers and separate masters prizes.

- 13.1 miles net downhill from Travelers Rest to downtown Greenville via the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail.
- 3.1 miles net downhill from the Swamp Rabbit Cafe to the same downtown finish.
Additional facts: the half marathon’s first 4 miles are rolling and the remaining miles contain the primary downhill sections. The event has capacity limits of 3,000 for the half marathon and 1,000 for the 5K. A four hour overall time limit applies to the half marathon (about an 18 minute per mile pace). Bus transportation between start and finish is available before or after the races; participants must reserve bus spots in advance. Bag check is provided at the start and bags are transported to the finish for collection. Packet pickup and t-shirt policies apply (t-shirt orders placed by February 1; shirts are not mailed).
