Greenville Half Marathon

Greenville Half Marathon & 5K : February 27, 2027
The Greenville Half Marathon & 5K presented by Benton Roofing is held along the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail and finishes in downtown Greenville at the TD Stage at the Peace Center. The event features two point-to-point distances:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 net downhill miles from Travelers Rest to downtown Greenville
- 5K: 3.1 net downhill miles from the Swamp Rabbit Cafe to downtown Greenville
Both courses are certified by USA Track & Field and will have updated certification information prior to the 2027 event. Timing is provided with Race Result BibTag technology; awards are based on chip time. A $3,000 cash purse is offered with specified payouts for overall and masters places.
Event capacity is limited to 3,500 for the half marathon and 1,250 for the 5K. Buses are available to transport runners between the finish and start locations; boarding is verified from a check-in list. A bag check at the start transports bags to the finish. Finisher medals are provided for both distances. Walkers are allowed but must finish within the 4 hour time limit. Strollers are permitted from the back of the field; note the finish area includes a stage with stairs. Dogs are not allowed. T shirt orders are placed on February 1; registrations after that date may not receive the requested size.
