About the race
The Lovers Lane 2 Mile & Relay is a two mile running event held on February 12, 2027, at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Participants can run solo or as a two person couples relay where each partner runs the same two miles and the pair posts one combined time. Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes January 4, 2027; the listed registration fee is $19.00. The course is flat and fast, an out and back along Corso Drive that crosses the Lovers Lane Bridge and remains entirely within Bridgeway Station.
Packet pickup occurs at 4:00 PM on race day at Bridgeway Station. There is a 45 minute time limit. Parking at Bridgeway Station is free and located within about 100 meters of the start and finish. There is no aid station on course; water is available inside Bridgeway Station and each entry includes one free drink, with non alcoholic options available.
Finishers receive a custom race bib with their name, a finisher medal, chip timing with live results, a custom race tattoo and a swag filled goodie bag. Additional event features include professional finish line photos, prizes for fastest couples and best dressed duos, top overall trophies and age group awards across 15 categories, and participation in the Upstate Giving Series.
