Lovers Lane 2 Mile & Relay
The Lovers Lane 2 Mile & Relay is a running event hosted at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The course follows a flat and fast out-and-back route along Corso Drive, taking runners through the castle-themed architecture of the station and over the Lovers Lane bridge. Registration is open to participants of various ages, with categories available for youth and adults.
Participants can choose from the following event formats:
- Solo 2 Mile Run: A single-person run on the out-and-back trail.
- Couples Relay: A two-person team competition where each member runs the 2 mile route.
The event includes a post-race celebration at Bridgeway Station featuring music and a finish line party. All registered participants receive a finisher medal, a custom race bib, and a race sticker. Additionally, local brewery Bridgeway Brewery provides a craft beverage at the finish line for runners.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group awards are also distributed to the top three male and female finishers in several categories, ranging from ages 0-9 to 80+.
