Loveland Frogman Race
The Loveland Frogman Race is a two-day paddling and multisport event held in Loveland, Ohio on August 29-30, 2026 at Loveland Canoe & Kayak, 174 Karl Brown Way. Each race combines paddling, cycling, and running in a continuous format.
The course comprises these segments:
- 5 mile Canoe or Kayak
- 8 mile Bike
- 5K Run
The event runs separate race days on Saturday and Sunday with both individual and two-person team entries. Transitions are at Loveland Canoe & Kayak and participants are bused to the start line. Starts are staggered. Divisions include Team (16+), Parent/Child Team (10+), Male (16+), and Female (16+).
Packet pickup is required in advance and is available only on Friday, August 28, with two sessions. No race day packet pickup is allowed. A photo ID and a signed waiver are required to receive a packet, bib, and timing chip. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are provided; participants must provide their own bicycle. Life jackets must be worn on the water and bike helmets must be worn while cycling. No headphones are allowed; failure to follow safety rules may result in disqualification.
Event shirts are available for purchase for $25 through August 1. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds. Registration opens February 20 and closes August 25. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
