Event details
The Love to Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Madison, Alabama at Palmer Park (574 Palmer Rd., Madison, AL 35758). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K (certified)
- 1 Mile (fun run; all finishers receive a ribbon)
The 1 Mile follows the 5K on the same day.
Logistics
Registration fees vary by date. For the 5K: $25 (Oct 1 - Dec 31), $35 (Jan 1 - Jan 31), late registration $40. For the 1 Mile: $15 (Oct 1 - Dec 31), $20 (Jan 1 - Jan 31), late registration $25. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Madison on Friday (12 PM - 6 PM) and at the race site on Saturday morning.
Participants are advised to park at Palmer Park. Portojohns will be available near the start and finish. Course notes: line up by pace, keep right on the greenway, runners will encounter returning traffic, and a lead bike will guide the way. Awards are to be determined.
