Event overview
The Love of the Horse Ocala 5K is the sixth annual running held on March 29, 2026 at the Florida Horse Park in Ocala, FL. The course includes both road and grass portions and takes place before a polo match. Proceeds benefit the Foundation for the Horse, an organization focused on horse welfare through education, research, and benevolence.
Race details
The event distance is 5K. A virtual registration option is available; virtual participants may run their own 5K course and upload a time by March 30, 2026. Race packets, including the race shirt and medal, can be shipped after race day for an optional $10 fee. The first 200 finishers will receive medals with a new design.
Entry fees are tiered: $35 through March 14, 2026, $40 from March 15 through March 28, 2026 when online registration closes, and $45 on race day. A race shirt is guaranteed for entries completed by March 14, 2026.
Awards are presented to the top male and female overall and Masters, and to the top three age-group finishers male and female in the listed age divisions: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
