Love Like Cam Color Run
The third annual Love Like Cam Color Run takes place on August 15, 2026 at 198 Todd Rd, Sumrall, Mississippi. The event offers two distances and is organized as a noncompetitive color run.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles): walk or run at your own pace
- 1 mile fun run: shorter route for children and families
Event features include a commemorative race t-shirt, sponsor-provided swag, a finish line party, photo opportunities, and a station with instructions to set shirt color as a souvenir. The event is untimed; no timing chips are used. Awards are given to the first three male and first three female finishers.
Registration opens May 7, 2026 and closes August 14, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Participants who do not register by July 25 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Proceeds support scholarships through a foundation created in memory of a young person. The organizer describes the event as suitable for a range of participants, from walkers to faster runners.
