The Molten Mohawk Niner (and 4 Miler) is a road race in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on February 21, 2026. Entry fees listed on the event page are $70 for the nine mile, $60 for the four mile, and $50 for the virtual race. Prices increase after January 11, 2026. Virtual registration ends on February 3, 2026.
Course and logistics
Both courses are on paved roads. The four mile option turns around at mile 2. Packet pick-up is at Thomley’s Christmas Tree Farm on Friday evening and on race morning at the same location. Awards for winners are presented after the race.
Finish area and race items
All finishers receive a custom glass-blown race medal made by Mohawk Steel and Glass Co. and an MM9R race shirt (short or long sleeve). The event provides a signature MM9R pint glass, an LMNT sample, warm beverages, and sweet treats for finishers.
