Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k : Farmerville, LA
The Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k is a community running event held in Farmerville, Louisiana on July 25, 2026. The course includes a fast first mile that trends downhill, followed by an uphill section near mile two known by organizers as "Watermelon Mountain." Awards are offered for male and female competitors and include overall and masters categories plus age-group awards for 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
