Event overview
The Louise Archer 5K & Sun Run takes place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Vienna, Virginia. The event is based at James Madison High School, 2500 James Madison Dr, Vienna, VA 22181. It is organized by the school PTA to support the Louise Archer community and school programs. The race program includes these distances:

Awards are planned for overall male and female finishers age 13 and over, and for top male and female finishers age 12 and under.
Registration and logistics
Online registration is required and remains open through race day morning. Registration fees change after March 13, 2026: 5K adult (13 and over) and youth (12 and under) tiers increase after that date; the 1K fun run fee also increases after that date. Commemorative race shirts are available for pick up for participants who register by the end of March 27; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after that date. Packet pick up and late registration are scheduled the day before at the PR Store-Vienna (111 Maple Ave) and on race day at Madison High School. All participants must be registered and wear a bib to take part. Parents registered in the 5K may participate with their children in the Sun Run at no additional fee.
