Event details
The Louise Archer 5K & Sun Run is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Vienna, Virginia. The venue is James Madison High School, 2500 James Madison Dr, Vienna, VA 22181. The event includes two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Sun Run (untimed kids run)
The event is timed by Commonwealth Race Management / PR Races. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers age 13 and over, and to the top male and female finishers age 12 and under. All participants must be registered and wear a bib to take part. Parents who register in the 5K may accompany their children in the Sun Run at no additional fee.
Registration and logistics
Online registration is required and will remain open through race day morning. Early registration prices apply through March 13, 2026; fees increase for registrations completed after that date. Fee structure listed by the organizer:
- 5K Adult (13+): $40 through March 13, then $45
- 5K Kids (12 & under): $35 through March 13, then $40
- 1K Fun Run (untimed): $20 through March 13, then $25
Commemorative race shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by March 27, 2026. Packet pick-up and late registration are available on Saturday, April 11 at PR Store-Vienna (111 Maple Ave) and on race day at Madison High School.
