Event overview
The Lost Trail 5K and Half Marathon are trail races held at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area in Granite Bay, California. The courses follow single-track trails along the lake shoreline and are described as very well marked with scenic lake views and wildflowers. The races are organized by TBF Racing / Total Body Fitness.

There are five aid stations located at miles 2.2, 4.2, 6.2, 10.0 and 11.5. Listening devices such as MP3 players and headphones are allowed; runners are advised to exercise caution when crossing roads and on trails. Packets are available at the race site on race day. Custom soft-cotton race shirts are available for pre-order for $20, and finisher medals were issued in 2026.
Awards include Overall Champion awards for first place male and female and awards three deep in each ten-year age group for both the half marathon and the 5K. For the 5K, youth competitors under 19 are split into two age groups: 14 and under, and 15-19. Entry fees are listed for each distance, including a $50 price shown for the 5K and $65 for the half marathon. Refund and transfer policies follow TBF Racing rules.
