Lost Trail 5K & Half Marathon
The Lost Trail event takes place at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, and offers two trail distances. The courses are described as well marked and provide scenic lake views and areas with wildflowers. Organizers provide multiple aid stations along the half marathon route.

There are five aid stations located at miles 2.2, 4.2, 6.2, 10 and 11.5. Listening devices such as MP3 players, iPods and headphones are allowed, but runners are asked to exercise caution when crossing roads and to pay attention on trails. Race packets are available at the race site on race day.
Finisher medals and custom soft-cotton race shirts are part of the event details; shirts may be pre-ordered before the race for $20, and finisher medals are noted for 2027. Awards include overall champion awards for first place male and female in each race, plus awards three-deep in each ten-year age group. In the 5K, athletes under 19 are split into two age groups: 14 and under, and 15-19.
TBF Racing maintains a no-refund policy; requests prior to race week are issued a race credit minus a $25 processing fee. Transfers to another TBF Racing event are allowed within one year for a $25 transfer fee. Events are held rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
