Lost Lake 25K : Bellingham, WA
The Lost Lake 25K is a trail race organized by Yeti Trail Runners near Bellingham, Washington. The event covers 25k on a true point-to-point course that starts at the Lost Lake Trailhead and finishes at the Larrabee State Park Amphitheater, with the start and finish located about 0.2 miles apart.
The route runs through the Chuckanut Mountains and Larrabee State Park on singletrack that passes old-growth evergreens, alpine lakes, and exposed ridgelines. The course is described as having runnable miles, smooth descents, a few sustained climbs, and some technical sections. On clear days runners can see Mount Baker, Bellingham Bay, and views into Canada; on misty days the route takes on a typical Pacific Northwest mood.
Course resources and timing are provided: a downloadable course GPX and pacing plan are available on Ultrapacer, and Zen Arcade Timing supplies chip timing with real-time tracking, advanced displays, and live splits. Aid station details will be posted closer to the event; available support is expected to include water, electrolytes, snacks, and volunteers.
